On February 4, 2016, in Spokane, WA, about 30 folks showed up for the action at the offices of Rep. McMorris Rodgers’, and Sens. Cantwell’s and Murray’s, and then a brief rally outside the Fed Building.

This link shows a video of the presentation to Cantwell’s staff. Good reception at all offices.

In conjunction we delivered PDA  national “Educate Congress” letters to all three offices which led off with the asking for opposition to TPP:

To: The Honorable Cathy McMorris Rodgers
From: Constituents of the 5th Congressional District February 4, 2016
As we launch into a new year full of promise., and as concerned, informed Americans, People Demanding Action calls on you to cosponsor promising legislation and to oppose misguided policies.
Please vote no on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a multinational corporate / commercial agreement that would export U.S. jobs and hurt our families, while giving special interests quasi- sovereign status. The full text of TTP is now public, revealing that most of the agreement has nothing to do with trade. Its investor dispute resolution provisions empower unelected international commissions to undermine local, state, and federal safeguards for consumers, employees, and the environment. Stand up for your constituents. Vote against and speak out against the TPP.

Vote NO TPP, 2-4-16-4

Vote NO TPP, 2-4-16-1
